I am a coach and I live my dream.

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa but raised mostly in Stuttgart, Germany, I toured as a teenager first with a famous boys choir and later with my twin brother and my younger brother as a singing group. After my military service in an army band and my following conscientious objection I earned a degree in Visual Communication at Frankfurt/Main University.

Afterward, I became a professional photographer, but soon gave up the tripod for a career in finance. Though I was successful in my work with sales and finance, my first love was always filmmaking. I continued to make short films and commercials as a side business.

In 2001, I went to New York with my twin brother to participate in a 30-day Performing Arts Seminar. Together, we re-discovered the joy of being on stage. We learned the crazier we were, the more the audience loved it.

In 2002, I decided to leave behind the old world in Germany and start anew in America. With my American business partner we combined entertainment and the media with business: DanaLynn Media.

Since I have moved to Austin in 2004 with my family, all of our talents and experiences are coming together. ‘We make stars out of great people’ is our motto.

After being an amateur coach since 1991 and completing my professional education in 2004 I am now in my journeyman phase.

When I’m coaching, I have people come up with a name or phrase for their alter ego. Naturally, I had to come up with one for myself. I am the German Cowboy. Now, I see this as my true nature.
